Delivery & Returns
Delivery:
Lightweight items such as hoods & hobs are delivered next working day by 'one man' courier.
Spares such as elements & door seals are sent by Royal Mail and may take 2 or 3 days. We can send by courier for 'Next Day' for an extra charge of £8
Delivery Service for larger appliances;
Your delivery will be by a specialised Home Delivery carrier using an experienced two man crew for all deliveries, please allow 4 -5 working days for this to take place. A member of staff will call you to arrange a suitable delivery date.
Our couriers deliver to the room of your choice, unpack and take away the packaging (unless the team feel that there are any health and safety risks e.g. staircase too narrow, or potential danger of damaging your order or property which would be discussed with you).
They deliver between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) in most UK mainland areas.
You must ensure that you or someone on your behalf is there to accept your delivery on the agreed date otherwise you will be charged for a second delivery.
Failed deliveries / collections are charged at the full rate.
We can now arrange delivery to Ireland, the Channel Isles, Western Europe, Greece & the Greek Isles. Call for details.
Free Delivery
We offer free delivery on appliances to the UK mainland. If you find an item on our website which does not offer free delivery please let us know so that we can correct.
'Remove & dispose of old appliance'
Our two man teams can remove & safely dispose of your old appliance however due to EU Regulations we are obliged to charge for this service as we have to pay regulated disposal companies.
Appliance must be disconnected from power/water.
Fridges & fridge freezers must be defrosted & left over bits of food etc removed, our teams will not remove 'iced up' or 'full of water' fridge freezers even if you have paid for the service.
Integrated appliances must be disconnected and removed from their housings.
Collection: You are more than welcome to collect, just let us know when you wish to arrive so that we can have the item ready for you. We operate from a warehouse and space is limited, Murphy's Law says that the item you want will be right at the back of the warehouse and it may take us 10 minutes or so to get it outside for you.
Damages / Returns: Couriers are couriers and on very rare occassions damages do occur, if this does happen simply notify the driver and / or call us at the time of delivery. We will replace the item if a replacement is available otherwise we will either offer an alternative product or quickly refund your payment. We cannot accept responsibility for damage which is not notified to us at time of delivery due to several reasons, for example many customers order appliances whilst work is being carried out on their kitchen, it is then impossible to determine if the item was damaged on delivery or at some other time. Whilst we will always be fair with you 100% of the time I'm sure you will not be surprised to learn that we have had the odd customer who abused our willingness to help
Storage:
We are regularly asked to hold on to an item until, for example, a kitchen renovation has been completed, as long as payment has been received we have no objection to this, your appliance will be placed off the floor on our pallet racking so that it remains safe and at the same time does not cause us any space problems.
